I have no words that could do this day justice. I'm giddy with excitement and hopeful for the future of our country, which too long has been under a dark cloud. There is no doubt that the storm has yet to pass, but perhaps now we as a people united will weather it better and emerge stronger as a whole.

It is indeed a great new day.
Such a great day. I teared up whenever I saw him on tv yesterday. So much hope and unity in our country now. I'm so glad my older daughter watched it all at school, and my 2 year old even cheered, "Yeah Obama!"
I too got really excited, teary, and happy at all the events yesterday. I know your new president won't be a perfect cureall for everything, but he gives us hope, and that's pretty wonderful.
