Every so often I give up the camera to the spousal unit and he turns outs some pretty cool shots like this leaf.
Or this palm. You see them, right? The eyes staring back at you, waiting and watchful. Definitely cool.
No idea, but also cool.
Love the smooth gray texture of this palm tree. I often found myself doing a double take of plants that looked almost fake. Not that plastic, tacky fake but the so perfect it can't be real kind of fake.
These blooms hovered over the wide blades like wispy clouds. They were especially lovely as nightfall crept in and they lit up the dark.

Very nice job Mr Gardeness! I did see the eyse! You have a good eye! gail
Very Nice photo shots, I do like the
white flowers, looks like a variety of lily I think, anyways very pretty.
Kudos to the spouse for the fine photos. Fractals I think they call those eyes. The white flower is lovely.
Hi Melanthia! Nice images, he did good job!
yes, sometimes it's nice to see the world through someone else's "eye." The "no idea" shot might be palm fruit of some kind, not sure of the variety. My FIL is an amazing tropical gardener on Maui. If there's anything you're just really dying to have a name for, I can ask him. :)
Nice shots! The palm eyes are spooky-looking. Good work, Mr Muse.
Isn't that a ginger lily? They smell heavenly.
Hi Melanthia, so you were away! No wonder it was quiet..welcome home! Lovely pics of the hisbiscus and hubby did a cool job with the camera. Looking forward to seeing more pics of paradise after you catch up on your sleep.
They do surprise us sometimes don't they? Cool photos!
Last shot is definitely Butterfly Ginger...oh I love that stuff. So do hummingbirds and butterflies. They smell so great. My entire yard will smell like them when they bloom. The big guy did good!
So glad you are back and had a nice vacation in Hawaii. I've missed you.
Great photos. So crisp and clear. I can't see that clear with my glasses on.
Looks like you took some beautiful pictures. Looking forward to more.
Have a nice day... Becca
