A lovely day

Oh sweet rays of sunshine! What a welcome sight and feeling to bask in its warmth today. I spent a good guilt free half hour lounging during the little guy's nap. It was nice to just sit and be.
There's a long list of garden chores I could have done. But why would I want to do that when I could just enjoy the flowers, listen to the birds and be content? Besides, there's always tomorrow.

What nice blooms you have there Melanthia! Relax - this is exactly what mama should do when the little guy sleeps!

It is so wonderful just to 'sit and be' and look at gardens and nature. One of the most precious things.

I'm sure the garden enjoyed your company too and will grow all the better!

What a healthy attitude you have towards life! Sometimes we are so busy 'doing' the garden that we forget to just 'be' in the garden and enjoy life!

I agree, sometimes the tasks just need to wait and we should soak up the moments of peace. They are few and far between for young families, for sure!!?! Hope you are well, haven't "talked" to you for a while!

I don't blame you at all. We all need to take the time and enjoy our gardens, not just work in them.
