Water, water everywhere

Water features are a wonderful addition to any garden. Wouldn't you enjoy having one of these in your backyard? Wailua Falls, just north of Lihue, offered an easily accessible snapshot of some of the islands famous falls.

The canyon that takes on all that water was equally impressive. It was rather rainy this day and the array of green tones really popped.

We walked uphill from our hotel to catch an overhead glimpse of the spot. Again, another overcast day, but in Hawaii you can't complain about rain. It's warm and lasts about 20 minutes.

A waterfall like this in the garden would be wonderful! What a beautiful place you have been to. The rain sounds refreshing too!

I'd love to have that first one :) One of things I look forward to seeing if I ever make it to Hawaii are the waterfalls. Very pretty!

WOW, that waterfall is big! And loud, I bet. What did your little man think of it?

Phoenix: We hadn't really thought of rain while in Hawaii, but at least it was warm!

Darla: It was wonderful, despite seeing it in the rain.

Tatyana: Glad to help!

Catherine: My first time there. A wonderful place. I could definitely move there.

Lynn'sgarden: He kept saying, "Watuh! Watuh!" I do believe he enjoyed it too!

Tessa: Yes, many photos. Now if I could just grab time to post them ...
